Laura is a visual communicator of science in the creative team within Engagement and Society. She creates illustrations, animations, data visualisations and graphic materials that promote the understanding and exploration of genomic science and its impact.

Laura has a background in Biotechnology and Biomedical research, and over ten years of experience working as a graphic designer and illustrator in Cambridge, London and Barcelona. She is passionate about taking a complex concept and transforming it into something visual that helps people engage with it.
